Chromium
6 Expert Panel Release Final Report
A panel of experts assembled by the University of California,
at the request of the Department of Health Services (DHS) and
the Office
of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), released
its long-awaited report
on the health effects of chromium 6 in drinking water. The report
finds the current standard of 50 ppb to be protective of public
health.
