system by eliminating waste, misuse and fraud from the system.
- By implementing
systemic changes such as requiring evaluations of injuries based
on objective medical findings, creating new return to work incentives,
using an independent medical review process to resolve medical
disputes, and others, the savings can be returned to workers in
the form of higher benefits, particularly for the most seriously
disabled workers.
