The traditional VSP plan provides exams every 12 months, lenses every 12 months, if necessary, and frames every 24 months. The plans are available with deductibles of $0, $10 and $15. Another plan option offers frames coverage for 12 months.

ACWA and VSP offer a plan option that includes coverage for progressive lenses (i.e., no line bifocals). This plan includes:

• $15 copay for exam, lenses and frames
• Includes coverage for progressive lenses
• Includes increased frame allowance

Flexible participation options for VSP are available to ACWA members. Employers select the benefit plan and contribution levels desired. Options include voluntary dependent coverage and varying retiree premium contributions. All classifications may be covered, active employees, active directors and retirees.
