ACWA’s Communications Committee develops and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors and ACWA staff regarding communications / public affairs programs to support ACWA and its members’ positions on legislative, regulatory and policy issues.
The committee promotes the development and implementation of sound public information and education programs and practices among member agencies. It prepares and distributes materials for use by member agencies in their local communications / education efforts. It also provides input and guidance to ACWA’s Communications and Outreach Department.
