Request for Qualifications for Wind Energy Service and Financing Options

ACWA’s Preferred Provider (APP) program is looking to augment its current group of APPs with a wind energy services and power purchase agreement provider. Water use in California is responsible for 19% of the state’s total energy use and therefore ACWA members are in unique position to help investor owned utilities meet the state’s mandated 33% by 2020 Renewable Portfolio Standard. One method to help ACWA members meet this goal is to encourage efficiency, conservation and renewable power development. Wind energy offers these opportunities to its members.
