Fili Gonzalez, Director of Finance and Business Services

As  director of finance and business services for ACWA, Fili Gonzalez serves as the association’s controller and manages finances, control, accounting and reporting for the association. Additionally, Gonzalez is responsible for the overseeing all business services, including information technology, human resources and administration, and manages the association’s building and leasing functions.

Before joining ACWA in 2012, Gonzalez served as general auditor for the California Department of Aging. Prior to that, he served as chief finance officer for the California Shock Trauma Air Rescue and for Child Protective Services’ Human Resource Services. He has also held positions as controller, corporate accounting manager, staff accountant and first baseman for the California Angels. Gonzalez is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Sacramento.
