Madera Irrigation Hires New General Manager
Thomas Greci, P.E. has joined the Madera Irrigation District (MID) as their General Manager.
Tommy is a lifelong resident of Madera County where he grew up working on his family’s farm and became heavily involved in the ag industry and farming business. He is married to his wife Brooke, and they have two children: Siena, age 2 years, and Paul, age 8 months.
He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University Fresno. Tommy is also a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in California. Prior to joining MID, Tommy served as Associate Engineer with Carollo Engineers, Inc. in Fresno. While working with Carollo Engineers, Inc., Tommy gained experience in municipal water, wastewater, recycled water, and storm drainage infrastructure analysis, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, infrastructure capital planning, system operations and management, and water supply planning.
Through his work on water related projects throughout the west coast, Tommy has developed a passion for the water industry. He has solved complex water issues for small valley towns to large regional water agencies. His experience will greatly benefit the District. Tommy is very excited to lead the Madera irrigation District as their General Manager, and he looks forward to applying his engineering and management skills while connecting back to his agricultural roots.
