Member Survey on SBX7 6 Groundwater Monitoring
As the state and federal government begin to implement the Comprehensive Water Package, ACWA member agencies have been given a unique opportunity to actively participate in the process through this extremely important member survey.
The SBX7 6 Groundwater Monitoring Survey was designed to gauge the level of groundwater elevation monitoring already occurring throughout the state and how agencies currently report their data. We anticipate the results of the survey will definitively illustrate the effectiveness of existing local groundwater management efforts in California, which is essential to DWR as they develop a practical monitoring program for water systems affected by the legislation.
