The State Legislative Committee sets state legislative policy for the Association. Committee members review relevant legislation, develop positions and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding ballot measures and other major statewide policy issues.
The committee also works with staff to draft appropriate amendments to bills and provides direction for ACWA legislative staff on legislative matters.
