Please join us for the next MCWRA and ACWA Region 3 joint program on drought and climate change. Featured speakers include UC Irvine Professor James S. Famigliette and his presentation, “Last Call at the Oasis;” University of Nevada, Reno Professor Emeritus John Kleppe on the implications of a Mega Drought; and a panel discussion, “Climate Change – Is the time to act now? What is the risk of doing nothing?” with State Climatologist Michael Anderson Ph. D, Research Hydrologist Michael D. Dettinger, UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability Professor Glen M. MacDonald Ph.D, and moderated by Irvine Ranch Water District Mary Aileen Matheis. A preliminary program agenda is available HERE.

WHEN:             Friday, March 15, 2013 – 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

                        Onsite check-in and networking will begin at 9:30 a.m.

                        Lunch will be provided.

Pre-Registration Fee: $ 30.00

Onsite Registration Fee: $35 – as space permits (Registration fee includes: meeting materials & lunch) Visa or Mastercard payments can only be accommodated online until the registration deadline, Mar. 8. Onsite registration payments must be with cash or check. All registration payments are due by March 15, 2013. The registration deadline is Mar. 8, or until space is full. Cancellations must be received in writing by 5 p.m. on Mar. 8, 2013, to receive reimbursement.
