While climate change science, policy, and education have continued to grow over the past decade, the same level of attention on the current regulatory framework and how it might possibly provide immediate adaptive benefit to water managers has not occurred.

This symposium will focus on how making regulatory and institutional frameworks more effective at providing water managers the ability to maximize operational efficiency and optimize beneficial use opportunities both now and into the future under climate change.
