The California Urban Water Conservation Council, along with the Water Forum and the University of California, Davis, invites you to attend a new workshop focusing on landscape water conservation. This two-day workshop will familiarize you with the basic soil-plant-water relationships; present important elements of the California Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance; and discuss potential links between the Model Ordinance and the California Urban Water Conservation Council's Landscape Best Management Practices. Learn how water suppliers and land use planning agencies can coordinate their landscape water conservation activities to make the most of this new legislation and see some innovative approaches other local agencies are taking across the state. There will be plenty of time for attendees to participate in discussions, share ideas, and ask questions.
