Krista Clark, Director of Regulatory Affairs

Krista Clark is Director of Regulatory Affairs for the Association of California Water Agencies, where she has worked for over 8 years. In this position she is responsible for managing the efforts of the regulatory affairs department to track, analyze, study, comment and testify on regulatory and legislative issues before the state legislature and key regulatory agencies. Subject matters handled by her department include water quality, water management, fish and species management, energy, groundwater and water system security.

Before coming to ACWA, Ms. Clark spent five years with the Kern County Waste Management Department, performing groundwater monitoring, data analysis and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Clark received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California at San Diego.
