Friday Deadline to Submit Nominations for ACWA Emissary Award
This Friday, Oct. 14, is the final day to submit nominations for the prestigious 2011 ACWA Emissary Award.
Established in 2006, the award recognizes extraordinary leadership by ACWA member volunteers in protecting and developing California's water resources and advancing and supporting the association's goals and mission.
Recipients demonstrate leadership in the course of service on ACWA committees; advocacy / outreach at local, state and / or federal levels; and commitment of time and expertise for the benefit of an ACWA program or issue.
Past recipients include:
- David Orth, general manager, Kings River Conservation District
- Randy Fiorini, former vice president, Turlock Irrigation District
- Jess Senecal, senior partner, Lagerlof, Senecal, Bradley, Gosney & Kruse
- Gary Arant, general manager, Valley Center Water District
- Bob Maddow, attorney-at-law, Bold, Polisner, Maddow, Nelson & Judson
