BDCP Public Meeting to Focus on Water Operations, Science
The public will get an update on the Bay Delta Conservation Plan and details from last month’s joint announcement by the Obama and Brown administrations at a meeting Aug. 29 in Sacramento.
Topics will include water operations, biological goals and objectives, the science process and more. View the meeting agenda here. The meeting will be available by conference call. Call-in information will be provided prior to the meeting.
On July 25, Gov. Jerry Brown, U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Assistant Administrator for Fisheries Eric Schwaab outlined revisions to the proposed BDCP that will undergo a rigorous public environmental review in the coming months.
