Council to Hear Public Input on Delta Plan Draft EIR

The Delta Stewardship Council will take public input on the Delta Plan Draft Environmental Impact Report during a public meeting tomorrow and Friday in Sacramento.

Released Nov. 4, the 2,200-page Draft EIR covers one proposed project alternative and five additional alternatives, and identifies the council’s draft Delta Plan as the “environmentally superior” plan. ACWA responded with a statement.

Other items on the two-day agenda include updates from the Delta Watermaster and the Bay Delta Conservation Plan, a panel discussion on stressors in the Delta and council recommendations on state-proposed regulations regarding striped bass and pyrethroid pesticides.
