Delta Conservancy Offers Grant Proposal Workshop

The Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy is offering a free grant proposal development workshop for nonprofits, local agencies, and special districts that serve the Delta region and plan to partner with the Conservancy in implementing projects or programs in one of its interest areas.

The two-day workshop, presented by the Nonprofit Resource Center, will be held Sept. 13- 14 at Clarksburg Community Church. The registration application is available at www.deltaconservancy.ca.gov and www.nprcenter.org.

The Conservancy is providing this training to help establish partnerships that maximize funding opportunities for and coordination of future Delta projects. These projects will focus on the needs of the local communities as well as the Conservancy’s legislative responsibilities.
