Judge Wanger Rules on Delta Smelt
Late yesterday, U.S. District Judge Oliver Wanger issued a 126-page decision involving the threatened delta smelt. As with his ruling on salmon just nine days ago, Wanger found that federal regulators failed to use the best available science in restricting pumping to protect the smelt and did not consider human and other impacts.
