Draft CASGEM Guidelines Now Available for Public Review

Guidelines for the Department of Water Resources’ California Statewide Groundwater Elevation Monitoring Program (CASGEM) are now available for public comment. The two documents, Procedures for Monitoring Entity Reporting and Groundwater Elevation Monitoring Guidelines, are available at http://www.water.ca.gov/groundwater/casgem/.

Comments are due by Nov. 22 to meet the Jan. 1 filing deadline for local entities to notify DWR of their interest in becoming a monitoring entity.
