CASGEM Online System Now Operational; Jan. 1 Deadline for Submittals
The Department of Water Resources has activated the California Statewide Groundwater Elevation Monitoring (CASGEM) Program Online Submittal System for agencies to notify DWR of their intent to become a monitoring entity.
The system may be accessed at http://www.water.ca.gov/groundwater/casgem/ . The system includes a help file to assist users with the notification process. Prospective monitoring entities must notify DWR of their intent by January 1, 2011, as specified in the California Water Code, Section 10928.
Earlier this week, DWR posted the following final documents for implementation of the CASGEM Program on the CASGEM web site:

DWR also posted revisions to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for the CASGEM Program. All documents are available at here.
