Senate Committee Plans Two Hearings on Delta

The Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee will hold two hearings on the Delta in the coming weeks.

The first hearing, set for 10 a.m. on Feb. 28, will be an informational update on Delta planning efforts, including the Delta Stewardship Council's Delta Plan, the Bay-Delta Conservation Plan, the Delta Protection Commission's Economic Sustainability Plan and the Delta Conservancy's strategic plan.

The second hearing, set for 9:30 a.m. March 13, will be an oversight hearing on the Delta Plan and the BDCP.

Both hearings will take place at the State Capitol, Room 112. Further details are expected soon on the committee's website.
