Water Commission Hearing to Examine Storage Set for Sept. 14

The California Water Commission will hold the first of two water storage workshops on Wednesday, Sept. 14, in Sacramento. Attendees are asked to RSVP by Sept. 9.

ACWA Executive Director Timothy Quinn will provide opening remarks for the workshop, titled “The Future of Water Storage in California.” He has also been asked to moderate a panel at a second workshop, slated for Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Sacramento.

The workshops are intended to inform the commission of existing, planned and needed storage projects in the state and discuss the benefits, costs and consequences of a broad array of projects and operational changes. View updated agendas.
