ACWA Launches Survey on Member Needs, Priorities
A web-based survey aimed at assessing ACWA members’ immediate and future needs launched Oct. 23.
The ACWA Member Needs Assessment, conducted by the professional research firm of Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates (FM3), is designed to help the association better understand member needs and how best to meet them. Questions cover areas such as member priority issues, effectiveness of ACWA’s programs and service, and the association’s overall strategic direction and policy agenda.
An email from FM3 announcing the survey and inviting members to participate has been sent to a representative sample of members, including agency general managers, board presidents, ACWA region boards, and members of ACWA committees and the Board of Directors.
Responses are requested within two weeks.
Survey findings will directly inform ACWA’s policy agenda and organizational priorities going forward and help shape membership activities, events and services.
ACWA last conducted a comprehensive member survey in 2005. Results from that survey led to significant changes at the policy level as well as changes to the organization along with its programs and services.
