Klamath Documentary Set to Air Aug. 20 on KVIE

A documentary on Klamath River Basin issues will air on Sacramento’s KVIA Channel 6 at 10 p.m. Aug. 20.

“The Klamath Basin: A Restoration for the Ages,” hosted and narrated by actress Frances Fisher, explores the complex water management issues of the Klamath River Basinlocated on the California-Oregon border and the landmark agreements established to address those issues.

Funding for the 60-minute documentary was provided by the Water Education Foundation with additional assistance from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The documentary was produced by independent television producer Stephanie Locher. John C. Davis served as the director of photography.

The foundation, along with an advisory committee comprised of Klamath Basin stakeholders, provided technical advice and research.
