July 2 Pre-Application Deadline for Safe Drinking Water Funding

Water agencies have until July 2 to submit universal pre-applications for funding from the Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund via the California Department of Public Health.

The State Revolving Fund provides low-interest loans to fund public water system infrastructure projects. Emphasis is on projects that solve public health and significant compliance issues. Pre-applications are used to create a project priority list that serves as the basis for which projects receive invitations to submit full applications. Nearly $200 million is anticipated to be awarded next year.
