Governor Announces Appointments to Water Commission, Delta Conservancy

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced nine appointments to the California Water Commission, the entity that will be responsible for allocating $3 billion in funding for statewide water system operational improvements under the historic legislative package on water enacted in November 2009.

Appointees include ACWA President Paul Kelley and state Sen. Dave Cogdill (R-Modesto). The appointments require Senate confirmation.
