Yuba County Water Agency, Browns Valley ID Support Water Bond

Two Northern California water agencies voted recently to support the $11.14 water bond measure on the November ballot.

The elected boards of the Yuba County Water Agency and Browns Valley Irrigation District voted to support the bond, placed on the November ballot as part of the comprehensive package on water enacted by the Legislature last fall. The bond measure would fund a variety of infrastructure investments and water supply reliability programs around the state, including $76 million for improving local water supplies in the Sacramento Valley.
