Demand Response Program
Constellation and EnerNOC
ACWA has teamed with two demand response providers – Constellation, (parent company of Ancillary Services Coalition),a preferred provider since 1999, and ACWA’s newest preferred provider, EnerNOC – to offer ACWA members a variety of demand response programs as well as energy management services. ACWA members have a unique opportunity to lower their energy costs, generate additional revenue and help prevent blackouts and brownouts when the state faces critical electricity shortages. Program participants get paid for offering to reduce their energy usage even if never called upon. If events do occur, payments to participants are even higher. These programs can keep electricity costs down for everyone and benefit the environment.
