By aggressively pursuing grants, this firm can help to get current and future projects funded. All management and grant writing services are customized to meet the needs of each ACWA member agency. Research will be specific to the needs of the agency to ensure all data is applicable.
In addition to grant locating, writing and management services, Sylvir Consulting, Inc. offers ACWA members a host of services, including the following descriptions of additional services:
Project management services over master plans and studies – coordinate the procurement of consultants, including the preparation of RFPs, to develop master plans and studies for those plans which have not been awarded. Manage the process of developing these plans and those that will be developed in the near future in accordance with the timeline and costs approved by the Agency.
Capital improvement program management services – develop 5-year capital improvement plans to assist member agencies in developing short and medium range plans. Provide liaison services between contractors and agency. Prepare detailed quarterly reports on project status and annual updates to the CIP.
Labor compliance services – these services are used to ensure that contractors working on public works jobs are complying with prevailing wage laws by reviewing contract language, payroll and other records for all contractors. Work closely with contractors to correct documentation errors and omissions. Maintain files for labor compliance, prepare reports, attend meetings and educate contractors on current labor reporting standards.
