The comprehensive water package is aimed at improving the state’s water supply reliability and restoring the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta ecosystem.
The package includes four policy bills and an $11.14 billion general obligation bond measure targeted for the November 2010 ballot. The bond would fund improvements to California’s aging water infrastructure, local resources programs such as conservation and recycling, and vital ecosystem restoration in the Delta.
