Education, Experience, & Licenses Must have a BS (or equivalent) in civil, sanitary, or mechanical engineering (or closely related field) from an accredited college or university Four years experience in civil, or mechanical engineering in wastewater collections systems, pumping systems, and/or treatment plants and technical expertise in wastewater infrastructure design and construction oversight. Must have a valid CA PE License Valid California Class C driver’s license.
