RFP: Executive Search Firm to Recruit ED by Association of California Water Agencies Mar 3, 2025 Request for Proposal For Executive Search Firm to Recruit the Next Executive Director of the Association of California Water Agencies Deadline March 31, 2025 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time Background and Summary The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) is currently seeking proposals to retain an executive search firm to assist the ACWA Board of Directors (Board) recruit and hire the organization’s next Executive Director. This RFP outlines the expectations and timeline for the scope of work. After careful review of responses and associated due diligence, the Board’s Executive Committee will select one firm to perform the executive search services described in this document. The Association of California Water Agencies ACWA is headquartered in the heart of Sacramento, just a few blocks from the State Capitol. ACWA is the largest statewide coalition of public water agencies in the country with approximately 470 public agency members who collectively are responsible for 90% of the water delivered to cities, farms and businesses in California.
