Under general direction, provides highly advanced professional support in the analysis, design, evaluation, development, programming, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of a wide variety of systems and programs for the District; provides highly advanced support to departments with very complex computer systems and programs and/or enterprise systems; performs database management duties; troubleshoots, analyzes, and resolves highly complex systems and network hardware and software problems; serves as a project manager on assigned projects; evaluates and recommends current and third party systems and applications; provides highly technical support, expertise, and training to end users.

Incumbent is responsible for the design, development, upgrade, maintenance, and production support, both technical and functional, of the Oracle/JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP and all related interfaces and systems. The Senior Programmer/Analyst will provide technical and functional support, design and develop new and modified functionality, reports, forms, interface systems, and perform JD Edwards CNC tasks including package builds, deployments, installing up-to-date ESUs, security, and configuration/ troubleshooting of Enterprise One Database and WebServers (Oracle Application Server) in support of Finance/Accounting, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Project Accounting, and of other departments. Troubleshoot and perform job duties in accordance with defined procedures and with limited supervision.

Incumbents may serve as a lead to lower level employees


Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

Experience: Five years of programming and analyst level experience including related Oracle database experience, C#, ASP, Java, HTML, HTML5, JD Edwards CNC, and applicable programming languages, database design, SQL development, Crystal reports, and web development experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Information Technology industry recognized certifications are desirable.

Three years functional experience implementing and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1+ including the following modules/areas: Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Purchasing and Inventory Management.

SCHEDULE: 9/80 (every other Friday off) or M-F work schedules offered

Salary Range: $100,831 – $126,040 Annually
