WVWD is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as a Utility Service Worker I. In this position, you’ll become a pivotal part of Walnut Valley Water District’s operations department. You’ll perform a variety of assignments in the areas of customer service and field maintenance associated with the District’s water service system. This position offers hands-on work in an outdoor environment with opportunities to build your skills and advance within the District. REQUIRED Education High School graduation or equivalent Experience Up to one year of experience in the reading of meters, water system operation and maintenance, and/or customer service. Certification & Licenses State of California SWRCB Water Distribution Operator Grade D1 Certificate is required. State of California SWRCB Water Treatment Operator Grade T1 Certificate is desired.
