ACWA REGION 1 PROGRAM AND TOUR
The Geysers: Exploring the Watershed-Watt Nexus

Join us in Middletown on August 11 for an informative tour of The Geysers and an opportunity to connect with your colleagues in the region. Attendees will learn how the largest geothermal operation in North America is supported by the regional water supply, and how two large-scale wastewater injection projects from Lake County and the City of Santa Rosa make sustainable power generation at The Geysers possible. The Calpine Corporation will guide tour participants through several stops to see The Geysers’ operations firsthand and learn the ways in which the geothermal field benefits the region and the environment.

The program will include a continental breakfast, tour transportation, and boxed lunch. See Preliminary Program Agenda for additional details.

Sponsorship opportunities available!
