ACWA will host a webinar from 11 a.m. to noon on July 25 to discuss the new long-term water use efficiency laws, SB 606 and AB 1668, signed into law by Gov. Jerry Brown on May 31, 2018.

Director of State Regulatory Relations David Bolland will outline the new requirements and an overview of the implementation process and deadlines for urban and agricultural water suppliers. Senior Legislative Advocate Whitnie Wiley will provide background context on the bills that led to the new requirements. Director of Communications Heather Engel will provide an overview of ACWA communication resources available for members. Webinar participants will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Registration for the webinar is free for members and $75 for non-members.

In addition, ACWA has developed a number of resources for implementing and answering questions from customers and news media about the requirements. The resources are available online and accessible only with a member login. The documents include comprehensive bill summaries, a fact sheet, an implementation timeline and an FAQ that can be customized to individual districts.

Again, this webinar will be on Wednesday, July 25 at 11:00 AM. REGISTER TODAY!
