Droughts bring major social, economic, and environmental impacts, and will continue to shape water management and policies into the future. New research from PPIC melds lessons learned from the recent drought with climate change simulations to review California’s capacity to adapt and prepare for greater extremes and growing water scarcity. Join the PPIC Water Policy Center and a panel of experts for a discussion on reforms needed to improve resilience and galvanize action to prepare for future droughts. Please register in advance. There is no charge to attend, but space is limited. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided. This research was supported with funding from the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation and the US Environmental Protection Agency. Co-hosted by members of the PPIC Water Policy Center Advisory Council.
