ACWA, CMUA to Host State Water Board Lead Service Line Inventory Webinar by Adam Borchard Dec 11, 2019 Water News The Association of California Water Agencies and the California Municipal Utilities Association will host a webinar Dec. 17 on behalf of the State Water Board’s Division of Drinking Water (DDW) to discuss the latest developments on lead user service lines in California. DDW’s Kurt Souza will present on the Board’s final steps to implement recent legislation, SB 427 (2017) and SB 1398 (2016). Webinar topics will also include lead service line replacement schedules, fittings, unknown service lines, and the latest proposed revisions for the Federal Lead and Copper Rule. The webinar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, with time set aside for questions from attendees. We anticipate significant interest in this event and recommend that water agencies register as soon as possible.
