I’m responsible for all human resources, risk management and employee benefits, along with employment training and development. I’m also responsible for all community outreach and conservation programs. 2. What do you like best about your job? I enjoy serving the community and consumers in our service area, as well as helping develop our district. I’ve also been attending ACWA conferences since 1991 and have served on the Insurance and Personnel Committee, Communication Committee, Water Quality Committee, and Business Development Committee. It has been an honor. 3. How did you get into the water industry? I was first offered a position in the City of Alhambra Water Department shortly after graduating from college and completing internships in two other cities. 4. What is something unique about yourself? I am as plain as vanilla, but that means I will always be consistent and loyal. 5. What would you tell someone just starting their career in water? California water is such an exciting, fascinating and challenging industry that offers so many opportunities to learn and grow. Never stop teaching others about the importance of water in our state.
