FEMA Grant Portal Training Webinar Feb. 6 and 7 by Caroline Minasian Feb 4, 2020 Water News The California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) is providing Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant training on Feb. 6 and 7. ACWA encourages its water and wastewater agencies to participate in the training to learn how to set up an account and pre-load essential information and documents to expedite financial assistance through FEMA in the event of a catastrophic incident. The webinar will help local agencies through the set-up process and CalOES is encouraging all local agencies with critical infrastructure – including water and wastewater agencies – to create an account and pre-load documentation prior to the onset of any need for assistance so the award funding and recovery process can be jumpstarted if/when disaster strikes. When The following are four webinar sessions that will cover the grant portal training: Feb. 6, 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Feb. 6, 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Feb. 7, 8 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. Feb. 7, 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. No Registration is necessary.
