The May 7 registration deadline is fast approaching for ACWA’s 2021 Spring Virtual Conference & Exhibition May 12-13.

In traditional ACWA fashion, the association will present an impressive lineup of speakers and California water leaders who will participate in panel discussions to explore relevant topics facing the water industry. Visit ACWA online to register and view program descriptions and additional background.

Confirmed keynote speakers include California Secretary for Natural Resources Wade Crowfoot, California Department of Water Resources Director Karla Nemeth and cybersecurity expert Bob Flores, Founder and President of Applicology Inc.

Themed “Navigating a New Future Together,” the informative programs will provide attendees with the latest developments on topics such as Voluntary Agreements, wildfire resilience plans in California, PFAS, groundwater management and water rights during periods of drought, among many critical issues. In addition, ACWA will honor the winners of its spring awards, the Clair A. Hill Agency Award for Excellence, the Excellence in Water Leadership Award and the John P. Fraser Water Leaders Fellowship.

The virtual format is easy to use and visually appealing to attendees. It also allows for innovative features such as a virtual Exhibit Hall and chat rooms where attendees can network with colleagues.

As a special treat, registration also includes a virtual tour of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. A host will take participants through an exclusive insider’s view of the aquarium’s most iconic exhibits. There will also be a live question-and-answer session with an aquarium representative.

The cost to register is $375 for members and $565 for non-members. If five people register from the same agency or organization, a sixth person can attend free of charge.
