Save Our Water Offers Water Agencies Bilingual Communications Toolkit by ACWA Staff Apr 9, 2021 Water News The Save Our Water program recently launched newly designed English and Spanish websites at www.saveourwater.com and an easy-to-access partner toolkit for ACWA member agencies to utilize. The partner toolkit is a one-stop shop for videos, radio ads, signage and social media graphics that can be used by agencies and municipalities to partake in the statewide campaign and spread the word about water resiliency to their customers and stakeholders. Water suppliers are also encouraged to follow Save Our Water on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and to share posts on their own channels and encourage customers to visit the Save Our Water website. The websites include an improved user experience that allows users to visually explore actions they can take to save water inside and outside their home. The redesigned site also includes access to tools and resources to help Californians modify their daily water use. The Save Our Water program was created in 2009 by ACWA and the California Department of Water Resources to help Californians be as efficient as possible when it comes to water use. The program’s goal is to help Californians make lasting decreases in their daily water use by adopting permanent changes to use water more wisely and prepare for more frequent and persistent periods of limited water supply.
