State Water Contractors Releases 2020-’21 Science Report by ACWA Staff Jul 15, 2021 Water News The State Water Contractors (SWC) on July 15 released its 2020-’21 Science Report highlighting the importance of investing in research to provide a more reliable water supply for California while protecting, restoring and enhancing the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay-Delta ecosystem. “The SWC invests more than $2 million annually in science and research and continues to work collaboratively with our partners in academia, government, non-profit and the private sectors to invest in California’s water future,” a SWC news release states. SWC is a non-profit association of 27 public water agencies, working together to provide clean drinking water to more than 27 million residents and 750,000 acres of farmland throughout the state, More information about SWC, including a copy of the 2020-’21 Science Report, is available at www.swc.org.
