WOTUS Proposed Rule Comments Due Feb. 7 by ACWA Staff Dec 7, 2021 Water News WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Dec. 7, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers officially published a proposed rule to revise the definition of “waters of the United States” (WOTUS). The agencies launched a 60-day comment period with comments due on Feb. 7. Interested parties may submit comments online. ACWA is tracking this issue closely and plans to weigh in during the public comment period. The agencies also plan to host three virtual public hearings in January 2022 on the proposal.
