Groundwater Management Policy Principles

In March 2009, ACWA released its “Policy Principles on “Groundwater Management,” calling for transparent and accountable statewide groundwater management.

The 12 policy principles call for responsible local management of groundwater resources, significant federal, state, regional, local and private investments in infrastructure and facilities, and improved groundwater management data, among other issues.
