Clair A. Hill Scholarship

Each year, ACWA awards the $5,000 Clair Hill Scholarship to a qualified student in a water resources-related field of study.

Eligible students must be California residents attending California colleges or universities full-time as a junior or senior during the year the scholarship is awarded. Applications must be postmarked by FEB. 1 each year.

The winner of the prior year's Clair A. Hill Water Agency Award for Excellence selects three finalists; the ACWA Scholarship Subcommittee selects the final scholarship winner. Finalists not selected to receive the scholarship are automatically entered into the pool of applicants for one of two ACWA Scholarships.
