The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Water Rights recently announced a new permitting process that provides a streamlined approval approach for diverting and capturing water from high flow events for the purposes of recharging groundwater basins.

Held on Oct. 17, 2017, this one-day summit provided information on the implementation of SB 555 (Wolk, 2015), which requires urban retail water suppliers to measure and annually submit data to the California Department of Water Resources pertaining to water lost from suppliers’ water distribution systems.

ACWA’s 2017 Legal Affairs Committee CLE Workshop Video

Held on Nov. 28, 2017, this one-day workshop provided continuing legal education for water professionals. Topics covered included an Annual CEQA Litigation Update, the WIIN Act, Proposition 218 and 26 Cases, and Utility Relocation and Public Projects.

Sessions in this workshop qualify for up to 6 hours of California MCLE general credit. To be eligible for credit, a participant must watch the session in part, or in its entirety to receive full credit, and provide applicable verification code(s) noted within the videos on the Attendance Certification Form included with purchase confirmation.
