ACWA has launched an initiative to proactively engage California’s gubernatorial candidates to help elevate and shape the water policy priorities of the next administration. To do this, ACWA will develop a concise policy document outlining a focused set of strategic priorities and recommended actions to support a reliable, affordable, and resilient water future for California. Throughout the year, ACWA will work to elevate these priorities with gubernatorial candidates, legislative leadership, administration officials, ACWA members, coalition partners, and the media. ACWA is hosting a series of regional briefings to update members on this initiative and facilitate critical regional input to help shape the priorities and solutions that should be represented in this initiative.
