This marks the sixth consecutive year the District has received this statewide recognition, highlighting its continued commitment to transparency, long-term planning, and responsible financial management. The CSMFO Operating Budget Excellence Award is presented to agencies whose budget documents meet rigorous standards as a policy document, financial plan, and communication tool, demonstrating clarity, completeness, and effectiveness in communicating financial information to the public.
