CARB-Led Partnership Launches Survey on ZEV Workforce Challenges by ACWA Staff Nov 19, 2025 Water News The Foundation for California Community Colleges on behalf of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and in partnership with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator and the Centers of Excellence for Labor Market Research, is conducting a survey to better understand the needs of organizations that operate and maintain vehicle fleets as they transition to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). Fleet managers, maintenance leads and operations of HR staff are invited to participate in this short survey about current and future staffing, skill requirements, training needs and ZEV-related workforce challenges. Responses will help inform California’s policymakers, educational institutions, and the ZEV marketplace about job growth trends, workforce development solutions, and how to best support the expansion of ZEV-related jobs across the state. The survey is administered by BW Research, an independent research organization. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. You can take the survey at http://bwresearch.com/p/ZEVWorkforce.
